We offer talks, presentations, show-and-tells, and social events on all aspects of WordPress, at all levels.
I co-founded and help run the WordPress Oxford MeetUp, a monthly gathering in Oxford, UK.
I created this simple site as a hub to provide information and signposting about the group, as well as a jobs board where people can submit job offers and vacancies.
I designed the logo and created an animated version to give a striking (and slightly hypnotic!) impression.
The website is, obviously, built in WordPress! It has a bespoke theme based on Foundation Press, and uses Guttenberg for creating page layouts.
The jobs board uses Gravity Forms to collect submissions, then saves them to a custom post type which emails the submissions to the admins for approval.
To create the logo I experimented with animating an SVG, but found the performance to be significantly better using CSS3 animations on a group of divs.
